1. What JobRise Is

JobRise is an AI-powered career toolkit that helps job seekers worldwide improve their resumes, prepare for interviews, and apply to jobs more effectively. We provide tools like ATS resume scoring, AI resume builder, cover letter generator, cold email writer, and more.

2. Who Can Use It

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• One account per person. Don't share accounts.

3. Free Tools

• Free tools include ATS scoring, JD Decoder, HR Whisperer, Employability Score, resume builder, cover letters, recruiter messages, interview prep, and more.
• JobRise is ad-supported so job seekers can use the core toolkit without a credit card.
• Some advanced or partner features may change over time, but the public career toolkit remains free to start.

4. AI-Generated Content

• All AI output (cover letters, cold emails, resume suggestions, interview answers) is generated by AI and should be reviewed by you before use.
• We don't guarantee any specific job outcome. JobRise improves your application materials, but hiring decisions are made by employers.
• You own the content generated for you. We don't claim any rights over your resumes, cover letters, or other outputs.

5. What You Can't Do

• Don't use JobRise to generate spam or misleading content.
• Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our API.
• Don't share your paid account with others.
• Don't upload illegal, harmful, or third-party content without permission.

6. Accounts and Service Changes

• You can use public tools without a paid subscription.
• If we introduce paid partner features, the checkout terms will be shown before purchase.
• We may update features, limits, or availability to keep the service reliable.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy for details. In short: no refunds for working tools. If a tool is broken and we can't fix it, we offer free retries or credit.

8. Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability. AI tools depend on third-party APIs (OpenRouter, Claude) and may occasionally be slow or unavailable. We'll do our best to fix issues quickly.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by emailing contact@jobrise.io.

10. Limitation of Liability

JobRise is provided "as is." We are not liable for any job outcomes, lost opportunities, or damages arising from the use of our tools. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Your Content and Data

By using JobRise, you agree that content you submit (including resumes, text, and files) may be processed and stored to provide and improve our services. You retain ownership of your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We'll notify users of major changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws for the service operator. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.
